Use terry toweling nappies with a muslin inlay and change nappies regularly and often. Always wipe the buttocks and genitals clean and then wash them without soap and pat them really dry. If the baby already has a rash, finish with a good covering of zinc and castor oil cream, vitamin E cream, E45 cream or a neutral white wax barrier cream. If there is no rash a dusting of baby talc is probably enough. Whenever possible leave the baby's bottom bare, which may mean frequently changing the under sheet but is worth it in the long run, and try not to use plastic pants more than is absolutely necessary. This will prevent from diaper rash.

If the rash seems totally abrasive and if it has a beefy red complexion to it, shark liver oil or cod liver oil should be a good solution. These can be applied to wade off this rash. This will helpful in removing diaper rash.

How to get rid from Diaper rash using antibacterial solutions?

Wash nappies very thoroughly. This means cleaning them, leaving them to soak in one of the antibacterial solutions made specifically for this purpose, boiling them well in a non-biological detergent or soap powder - do not use bleach - and making sure that they are rinsed in several changes of water. All of this ensures that any lurking microbes are well and truly finished with and that no harmful soap or detergent deposits are left in the nappy. This is beneficial for the treatment for diaper rash.

What are the precautions you have to take?

If after all these precautions have been taken your baby still has a rash look to a change of milk or baby food or if you are breast feeding, ensure that the foods you are eating are not too spicy or acidic. Any radical changes to your baby's food and any persistent problems should always be mentioned to your health visitor at the baby clinic.
